The Journey Behind TBRL
The Bible Research Library was born from a passion for deepening biblical understanding. Our founders recognized the need for accessible, high-quality resources that empower pastors and learners alike.
The mission is about bringing academics and ministry together-- to provide a safe learning space where people can ask questions and get the tools they need to uncover the answers they've been searching for.

Meet Heather
Heather Preston is an independent researcher and professional writer with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. As a consultant, she works with various ministry organizations and pastors and has a passion for academic collaborations.
Her academic work focuses primarily on early church history, presenting at notable institutions including the Society of Biblical Literature. Her most recent book is entitled Between the Lines; written for a modern audience, Between the Lines fuses her passion for biblical history and cultural context with creative storytelling.
Heather also hosts Scripts on Scripture, a podcast where she discusses all things “Bible” with pastors and fellow writers. When she’s not writing, you’ll find her spending quality time with her husband of fifteen years and their three children.
